Activities and Sports in Nature
There are a great many marked footpaths all around Thassos Glamping Resort. Most of them lead from the glamp-site up to the mountain peaks. Ridge hikes to the Three Hills or Ypsarion.
Hiking routes for beginners, average, and advanced hikers.
Rent a bike and ride up the dirt trails leading to the mountain, or cycle around the island to explore secret beaches, all while admiring nature and the view.
Join one of the daily Jeep Safaris going around the island trails, and explore the wild side of Thassos Island!
Snorkel around the most magnificent turquoise waters you can find! Wash small fish, octopus, and if you’re really lucky, a dolphin!
Kayaking is the coolest way to go to a secret beach, explore the steep cliffs under the monastery, and find the secret source of youth!
The steep cliff just behind the glamping site is an excellent challenge for experienced rock-climbers. There are rocks and boulders suitable for every level.

Directions & Travel Info
Directions from Thessaloniki (SKG)
If you rent a car, follow the Egnatia Highway A2 from Thessaloniki and exit to Kavala. Otherwise, take a bus from Makedonia bus station. It is about 150 km and it takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes to get there. Board the ferry to Prinos at Kavala harbor. The ferry takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. You can spend it on the main deck looking at the sea and the island as you approach.

When you arrive on Prinos, take the road that goes around the island, towards Potos. Continue through Potos towards Potamia. After about 30 minutes, you will have arrived in Thymonia Bay. Continue on the main road, passing the bus stop on your left, turning left. There is a sign (Billion Stars) there.
Directions from Kavala Airport (KVA)
Take a bus, car, or taxi to Keramoti. It’s not more than 30 minutes from the airport. Then board the ferry from Keramoti to Thassos. The ferry takes about 40 minutes. You can spend it on the main deck looking at the sea and the island as you approach.
When you arrive on Thassos, take the road that goes around the island, towards Potamia. Continue through Potamia towards Potos. After about 20 minutes, you will see the sign that you have arrived in Aliki.
Continue on the main road, towards Thymonia, look for a dirt road that goes up from the right side of the asphalt with a sign (Billion Stars), just before the bus stop of Thymonia. Take this dirt road up to the camp for about 500 meters.
